STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative word of God.  
II Timothy. 3:16-17; II Peter 1:20-21                                    

We believe that there is only One God, eternally existent in three persons:  God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the divine nature (deity) of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ; in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, atoning death, bodily resurrection, ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His return to earth in power and glory.

We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ.

We believe in water baptism, as taught and demonstrated by Jesus, as the way for believers to identify with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.

We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation.

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Ghost according to Acts 2:4 and that it is given to believers who ask for it.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life. 
John 16:13; Romans 8:1-2

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the sanctity of marriage as Biblically described and determined by God as being between a man and a woman.  Marriage between one man and one woman for life uniquely reflects Christ’s relationship with His Church.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
